Established in 2000, the award-winning Sons of Eden winery in the Barossa valley in South Australia is crafting wines of unquestionable quality, from the vineyard right through to the bottle.  The Sons’, Corey Ryan and Simon Cowham, focus on producing world class wines with minimal intervention.  All wines from this small-batch winery have a strong sense of individuality.

The Rhône style blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre (GSM) is something of an Australian speciality and in the hands of the Sons of Eden winemakers it expresses its full potential.  The Grenache fruit is the ‘soul’ of this blend and is from an exceptionally low yielding 50+ year-old Light Pass Vineyard. Originally planted by the Kennedy Family, with ownership eventually being passed onto the charismatic Leo ‘Joe’ KENNEDY who nurtured the vines for many years, selling his prized fruit to local winemakers.

Deep crimson in colour this wine is bursting with ripe cherry, blackcurrants and complex five-spice aromas.  It's smooth, rich and round on the palate with a long, fresh, complex finish.
