2019 Fèlsina Berardenga Chianti Classico

Italy's most ancient wine region, Tuscany, is home to the country's most famous fine wine – Chianti.  Within this region, the best wines are produced in the Chianti Classico zone that stretches between Florence and Siena.   Only wines from this zome have the unmistakable pink label with the Chianti Classico Black Rooster seal on the bottle.  This Chianti Classico estate is located northeast of Sienna at which the winemaker, Fèlsina Berardenga, epitomises the powerful style of southern Chianti.

This wine is 100% Sangiovese, the famous grape of Tuscany.  It is a deep, attractive ruby red, is full of fruit and has flavours of wild red berries, cherries and mixed spices.  The finish is long and spicy.
