2021 Chateau le Manoir Lalande De Pomerol
A deliciously smooth fruit filled Bordeaux blend
Lalande-de-Pomerol lies on the right bank of the world-famous Bordeaux region in southwestern France. Here red wines are made predominantly from Merlot, but may also contain Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The wines tend to be rich in fruit, softer in mouthfeel with less tannin and acid than the Cabernet Sauvignon centric left bank.
This delicious Lalande-de-Pomerol from Chateau le Manoir is rich and smooth with delightful red cherry and redcurrant aromas with a touch of blossom and vanilla. On the palate, there's more ripe fruit, with blackberry and blueberry coming through. Overall the wine is well-balanced with a long finish, and smooth tannins.
