Sancerre is one of the classic white French wines from the eastern Loire region of northern France. It is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
This excellent example is a classic Sancerre from the cool hillside vineyards of Domaine des Brosses, providing a grippy, mineral style expected of true Sancerre. This wine has a fresh, citrus palate with gooseberry and notes of hay, nettle and wet stones. Richly textured but with crisp acidity and a long finish.
