2021 John Duval `Plexus` Barossa Valley

John Duval is one of the world's best-known winemakers.  He makes a small number of handcrafted wines at his home in the Barossa Valley in South Australia.

The Plexus MRV is a classic blend of three of the noblest French Rhone white varieties, Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier.  The result is a vibrant expression of fruit aromas from the interaction of the three varieties.  There are aromas of peaches, dried apricot and subtle Asian spice. Medium-bodied with good texture and richness, it has a savoury finish which is well balanced with the fresh acidity. Flavours of nectarine, mandarin and pear linger after the last drop.
