2021 Rias Baixas Quinta de Couselo O Rosal
A bone-dry, fruity white wine from Rias Baixas on the Atlantic coast of north-west Spain.
Nestled in the south-west corner of Galicia on the Atlantic coast bordering Portugal's Vinho Verde region, Rias Baixas has firmly established itself as the star region of modern Spanish white wines. Albariño is the dominant grape in the region.
The small, family-owned, Quinta de Couselo is located in the O Rosal Valley close to the Atlantic Ocean and is known for producing seriously elegant wines. Rias Baixas Quinta de Couselo O Rosal 2016 is wonderfully expressive and a delight to drink with stone fruit aromas of yellow plum and peach, together with a touch of orange blossom and laurel. It is extremely refreshing with a crisp acidity and the ripe stone fruit character continues to persist on the finish.
