2022 Allram Grüner Veltliner Alte Reben

The Kamptal is the ultimate place to grow Grüner Veltliner, Austria's signature grape variety.  Here the soil is the product of the dry, cold climate of multiple Ice Ages.

Situated in the heart of the Kamptal, in the beautiful village of Straß im Staßertale, Allram is a 23ha family-run estate now under the stewardship of 4^th generation Michaela Haas-Allram, together with her husband Erich Haas. Viticulture here is as natural as possible, as Michaela and Erich believe this is important to show the great potential of the local terroir. This philosophy, combined with their in-depth knowledge of their prime vineyard sites, results in superb expressions of Grüner Veltliner and it is no surprise that Allram is now recognised as one of the best wineries in Lower Austria.

Brilliant golden yellow, nuances of pineapple and apricots, warm and ripe, underlying hints of honey, spice, white pepper.  Rich and lively on the palate.
