2023 Terres Fideles L’Ombra de Queribus Cotes du Roussillon Villages Vielles Vignes
A lighter velvety red from south west France
From the slopes of the Agly Valley in Roussillon, in the foothills of the Pyrenees in south west France, this organic wine is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Carignan. A beautiful balance of dark
and light. Grenache gives it depth, dark fruit and a generous, velvety texture, while Carignan brings lift, freshness and bright-fruited energy. Drawn from old bush vines at 240–280 metres, hand-harvested, wild-fermented and kept in small concrete vats with no oak. A small-batch wine shaped by wild mountain vineyards, old vines and a clear respect for place. Strawberries, spices and red/black berries.
