2022 La Giustiniana Gavi di Gavi `Lugarara`

Gavi di Gavi is a famous white wine zone in Piedmont, Italy. The 1,200-hectare vineyard area surrounds the city of Gavi itself.  Cortese is the grape behind the wines of Gavi di Gavi, and is distinguished by its crisp, floral, peachy, aromatic qualities. Its wines are best enjoyed young.

This wonderful example is a stunning single vineyard Gavi di Gavi from the producer La Giustiniana. This has delicate stone fruit with green apple notes, a fresh lime twist and an almond note on the finish.
