2023 Pazo Señorans Albariño Rias Baixas

From Galicia’s Atlantic north-west, in Rías Baixas, Spain, Pazo Señorans has built its reputation on a thoughtful blend of traditional and modern winemaking, producing Albariño that feels both classically coastal and quietly refined.  This wine is a bright, poised white made from 100% Albariño, grown in the estate’s pergola-trained vineyards. Fermented and matured in stainless steel with no oak, on the nose it combines ripe pear, peach and citrus with white flowers and has a subtle grassy freshness.  The palate is fresh but not sharp, with lovely volume through the middle and a dry, saline finish that makes it especially good with seafood.
