2019 SoloContigo Casa de las Musas GSM

Noel and Terry Neelands, owners of SoloContiga wines in the beautiful Uco Valley in Mendoza, under the gaze of the Andes, are both great art collectors.  They are similarly passionate about producing real works of art with their wines.  Their Casa de las Musas wines are inspired by the most famous wine appellations in the world.

The Casa de las Musas GSM assembles Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre – three important grapes whose famous home is in the Côtes du Rhône region of France. This blend is loved for its complex red fruit flavours and age-worthy potential.  The endless nuances of this red will take you to a myriad of places.  The nose has multiple layers of notes including dried herbs, orange and cocoa.  The palate is smooth with the tannins balancing nicely with the stewed strawberry, tobacco, red plum, and blackberry flavours.  Delicious.
