Tindall Vineyard is a family-owned single vineyard, in the heart of the Marlborough wine region, the Sauvignon Blanc capital of New Zealand.  The name honours Henry Tindall, grandfather of the brothers Clyde and Nigel Sowman who now run the estate.  Tindall‘s vineyards are located in Marlborough’s premium Rapaura sub-region. What makes this region special is its unusual combination of long days, cold nights and bright sunshine.  Grapes can be left on the vine to ripen slowly, build high sugars without (thanks to the cold nights) sacrificing the acidity that characterises New Zealand wines.  In addition, organic practices allow the vineyard’s unique characters to be expressed due to fewer outside influences such as sprays and fertilisers.

Tindall Vineyard Organic Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is handpicked from the oldest vines, this limited release Sauvignon Blanc displays delicacy and finesse while capturing the intense characters Marlborough is famous for.  Concentrated aromas and flavours of tropical fruits and ripe citrus are revealed on a richly texture palate.
