2019 Bird in Hand Nest Egg Chardonnay

Bird in Hand is multi-award-winning estate is based in Adelaide Hills from where it produces classic examples of cool-climate Chardonnay and Shiraz.  Situated in an area of the Adelaide Hills that was littered with goldmines in the 1800s, the Bird in Hand winery is a multi-award-winning estate.  Nest Egg is the name of a one mineshafts in the Bird in Hand goldmine.  The Nest Egg range is created only in outstanding vintages and represents the very best of Bird in Hand; each bottle is individually numbered.

Straw green in colour with complex and intense characteristics of peach and grapefruit with notes of cashew and flint. The palate is intensely flavoured yet delicate, with tropical, orchard and citrus fruits alongside the textural oak with beautifully integrated natural acidity.
