100% Sauvignon Blanc
The 600-mile stretch of the Loire River valley and its tributaries make up one of France’s top wine regions. The maritime weather is tempered as you move inland to the east. The vineyards of the Middle Loire surrounding the towns of Angers and Tours lie in some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of France and is the warmest stretch of the entire Loire Valley. Here in the east of the Touraine wine region, near the famous Château of Chenonceau, Domaine Francois Cartier has been making wine for five generations. Sauvignon Blanc is king using grapes from some of the best soils in the Cher Valley. Vincent Cartier’s unrelenting focus in the vineyards, combined with modern wine-making techniques are allowing this Domaine to produce top-quality Touraine Sauvignon.
With classic French Sauvignon notes of grass and gooseberry, this wine has a lasting finish from the crisp acidity on the palate that will leave you wanting more!
