2021 Massolino Langhe Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is the grape behind the great Barolo and Barbaresco wines of Piemonte.  Langhe Nebbiolo is effectively the ‘second wine’ of Piemonte’s great Barolo & Barbarescos made in an early-drinking style and often offers great value.

This example of Langhe Nebbiolo is from Franco Massolino, one of Barolo's outstanding young  winemakers.  In the glass, it is a pale ruby colour with a hint of purple. Flavours of rose, raspberry and redcurrant are supported by cherry liqueur and subtle spices.
