Ribeiro is located at the confluences of the valleys formed by the rivers Miño, Avia and Arnoia in Galicia, north west Spain.  In the Avia valley, José Gonzalez and his brother Javier have worked, since 2000, to restore abandoned vineyards.   Respecting age old traditional winemaking techniques and using indigenous grape varietals, Treixadura, Godello, Albariño and Loureira, the brothers together with winemaker José Manuel Martínez Juste have produced exceptional white wines from a little over 12 hectares of steeply terraced vines, which truly expresses this magnificent terroir.

The award winning Finca Viñoa Treixadura Ribeiro Blanco is produced with the utmost care and respect for the integrity of the fruit and the unique site from which it originates. The vinification is pure, clean and free from over manipulation.  In the glass it is beautiful yellow colour and very bright.  It has a high intensity nose with aromas of apple, pear, white plum and peach. It is long and creamy on the palate with a long finish.
