2017 Belhara Estate Gran Corte

The Valle de Uco is the hot topic of Argentine winemaking. Rankings, reviews and reports all say that it is THE place for wine within the famous Mendoza region.  With 27,900 hectares, it is a mosaic of flavours and aromas for all varietals.  The key to the success of the Valle de Uco is sunshine and altitude ensures freshness and quality.

The Belhara Gran Corte is a red blend of 60% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot sourced from selected limestone blocks of old vines from Belhara’s vineyard in the appellation of Tupungato, Valle de Uco, at an altitude of 1200m.

The nose is smoky and saturated with black fruit, cassis and dark cherries.  On the palate, opulent flavours of blueberry and blackberry are complemented by notes of roasted coffee and cinnamon on a long and lavish finish.
