2020 G.D. Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is the grape behind the great Barolo and Barbaresco wines of Piemonte.  Langhe Nebbiolo is effectively the ‘second wine’ of Piemonte’s great Barolo & Barbarescos made in an early-drinking style.
G.D. Vajra is located in the village of Vergne in the heart of Barolo and adheres to old-style winemaking methods to produce superbly elegant wines.

The G.D. Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo has intense notes of violet and rose, accompanied by the freshness of ripe red berry fruits on the nose. It is an elegant Nebbiolo with herbaceous notes and perfumes of roses and red berries complemented by silky tannins and delicate acidity. A great value alternative to Barolo.
