2017 Pieropan Ruberpan Valpolicella Superiore

Valpolicella is a famous Venetian red wine from north of Verona. The Pieropan family has been producing wines in the region since the 1890s. From the 2015 vintage onwards, all Pieropan wines are organically certified.  The vineyard that produces the grapes for Ruberpan is south-facing with a good exposure that ensures excellent ripening of the Valpolicella varieties (Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina).

Ruberpan is brilliant ruby red in colour. The bouquet is full of typical cherry and strawberry fruit. The palate continues with complex layers of beautiful fruit notes and finishes with a spicy character.
